My in- game character from Skyrim. A nord warror I named after Kirk Douglas' character from The Vikings.( Shout-outs to Senor Bike Kinzle who was nice enough to loan me the dvd!) I thought it appropriate to post sketches of what's been keeping me from posting sketches. 

I was going to put off posting these, so I could revise some things, but I decided to post what I had. This blog is getting me to work things out more than I normally would if they were just for me, but I think there's gotta be a cut- off also. I didn't think it would be good to dwell on these for too long.

For you Non- Skyrim types, Sovngarde is the Elder Scrolls equivalent to Valhalla. Nord warriors strive to prove themselves worthy of the afterlife through combat and great deeds.

Drawing I did after listening to a This American Life podcast, Episode 279 Auto show. Act 5 of the show is about a reporter going for a ride with Sir Sterling Moss, a legendary racer from the 1950's.  At the time of the story, Moss is 75. He's recovering from back surgery and now needs help getting into the car he drove in his youth. However, once he starts the car's ignition he becomes the racer he once was: "... the old man disappears behind the goggles and the racer emerges from beneath the helmet..."

The story starts ~ 48 mins in, but i definitely recommend listening to the whole episode. Great stuff!

All Hallow's Eve

FIRST POST! and so it begins...

Had some extra time today, so i whipped this up to try to get into the Halloween mood. Was fun to do but I'm still not feeling in the spirit (sorry) of the holiday. Probably because it was pretty warm today. I think I need that crisp fall air. Maybe next year.

I created this blog months ago and am only just now getting around to posting. I'll do my best to post regularly and to any that happen upon it, thanks for checking it out!
